Sony Philippines launched yesterday the world’s slimmest LCD TV - the Bravia ZX1, measuring only 9.9mm in depth. That’s slimmer than the Nokia E71 or the iPhone 3G.

Sony Bravia ZX1 has a Full HD display resolution supportivity of 1920X1080 pixels. Other features of Bravia ZX1 includes Edge LED technology,Image Blur reduction,Bravia Engine 2, a PC input, composite inputs,USB connection, component inputs, four independent HDMI inputs and a RGB compatible SCART input. and motionflow 100Hz. The Bravia ZX1 weihs just 15.5 Kg. Sony's Bravia ZX1 is also equipped with Theatre Sync and premium audio enhancement such as S-Force Surround, digital amplifier,Dolby digital plus and voice zoom.

Best of all, it’s practically wire-free - comes with a high-speed wireless connection capable of real time transmission of HD signals (1080p) to the Bravia ZX1 (there’ a wireless box that interfaces with it and has the 3 other HDMI ports). Now, if only this one doesn’t cost as much as a brand new car.
