Since I saw an entire discussion about personalized Christmas gifts in this forum I'd like to share an idea that I recently discovered over the net, that of turning photos into hand-made paintings. 

I think this is the final frontier in personalizing gifts...

There is this painter corner called Painted Souvenirs who deal with photo transformation into hand-madepaintings for their clients' Christmas gifts...

I myself found the idea pretty interesting especially as it would be both sentimental and unique. 

However, what do you guys think about it?
